Beanie's Room etc....

Well, here comes the baby. We are nesting and preparing for the arrival of our sweet little person. We are overjoyed with excitement and surrounded by love. Here are a few pics of Beanie's room and his/her fun daddy :)

Daddy was practicing being a super hero with beanie's towel :)

Grandma Tuori made this beautiful blankie for beanie.

Here's another cool blanket and the diaper caddy

Beanie's dresser and hamper.

Where many nights of sleeping thru the night and overall cuteness will occur. (Always and optimist)

Adventures in Babies

Here we go.  The adventure into parenthood has begun.  Chris and I don't completely know what this will bring, but it will definitely bring change, hope, excitement and a new way to know our God.  We are excited to meet this little one.  To know what we'll call him/her.  To know what their interests and hobbies will be.  We wonder what he/she will look like and who's personality will overcome in the gene pool.  Life is fun.  God is good.  We are on a new adventure....the kind with babies :)

This pictures shows "beanie" sucking their thumb.  Apparently, Mom sucked her thumb when she was a baby too, so this is perfectly normal already.  We talk to beanie regularly and in about 2 weeks, he/she should start being able to hear us.  What a wonder that is being formed.   I'm completely in AWE.

Time in Life

I really love to be alive.  I am so thankful to God for giving me a loving husband, a job, and a great church to be in community with believers.  This past year has been a year of changes and exciting new adventures for Chris and I!  We moved to a new state, found new jobs, made more friends, and have learned more to depend on each other and more importantly the Lord.  Seriously,  there are times that I wonder, will we really be able to pay our bills, keep growing, or find kindred spirits in this new place, like we had back in Michigan?  The answer is, when God goes with you, love abounds.  We have met some dear people that we love deeply.  We have had our needs met financially.  We have embraced love from many angles, friends, strangers, creation, jobs, family, etc.  We continue to give that praise to God and hope that he is glorified through our lives.
